Paraguay is among the countries with the highest rate of deforestation worldwide. The Santa Margarita laboratory intends to be the best example to follow, promoting the cultivation and care of native species as the lungs of our life and that of future generations. The La Margarita nursery in the city of San Juan Bautista-Misiones, owned by the company, is far from being a conventional nursery. It
is located in an area that meets several national and regional environmental conservation objectives. It has relevant elements to contribute natural and cultural values to the country through the domestication and research of its crops. This place has the mission of perpetuating the rational use of such valuable medicinal plants in people’s daily lives.
